We're Not So Different, You and I

Can you tell if this picture was taken on the balcony of a high-rise apartment in New York City or on a 400-acre homestead in Virginia? What about these chickens?  Are they in a backyard in Los Angeles or in the corner of a 10,000 sf garden? My point is, sometimes it can feel like you and I live very different lives.  I wake up every morning to feed my animals and gather eggs, maybe you wake up to fit in a work-out session before you have to get ready for work and get the kids off to school. We both wake up to days filled with responsibilities. Perhaps you fill your commute time listening to podcasts, then arrive at your office to a day filled with phone calls and urgent emails. I like podcasts too!  I put on a favorite and catch up with the latest episode while I put the house back in order and load the washer.  Then I head to my home office and open my laptop and my work-from-home day begins. You might stop at the grocery store on the way home to grab something
